Our name reflects our focus on community service. We recognize the importance of supporting educational programs and worthy organizations in the communities we serve. We do this by active participation as an organization and through Financial 21's T.E.A.M. Volunteer employee program.
Our community support includes:
Financial 21 provides internships and job shadowing to students who are considering financial services as a career choice. We also participate in classroom presentations and personal finance workshops.
This annual fundraiser for Children's Hospital is supported in all Financial 21 branches. Credit Union staff also sell special Children's Hospital newspaper editions that feature the services of the hospital. All proceeds go to Children's Hospital.
Financial 21 T.E.A.M. volunteers spent two Saturdays doing a variety of construction tasks such as painting, digging trenches and spackling to help finish future homes for deserving families.
We actively support San Diego Blood Bank's need for blood donations with regularly scheduled blood drives at our branch locations.
Financial 21 CCU participates in this annual event by collecting holiday food donations that are distributed by the Salvation Army.
Financial 21 T.E.A.M. volunteers have supported this cause over the last 4 years by participating in American Cancer Society's walk to raise awareness about breast cancer.
